Wow...Wow...Wow, what a bloke!. Not only are the photos more than we could have ever imagined, but Alister also brings with him much more than just a couple of cameras. He brings excitement, comfort, joy, energy, knowledge and a wealth of passion for his work. I first saw Alister at one of my best mates weddings and was just blown away by how much love this man brings to his job. My then-fiancee, now wife and I had already paid the deposit for another photographer but I was that convinced Alister was the goods, so we forfeited the deposit and re-booked with Al. What a wise decision that turned out to be. Communication for the moment we booked right through until after our wedding was second to none. Al will literally facetime with you as a means of contact and this further ensures that there is no confusion in expectations. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and are currently reading this review. You can stop searching now. This man is your man. The world needs more genuine people like Alister. We are so happy we chose Alister to be our photographer on our Wedding Day. From the first time we connected with him and throughout the entire process, Alister was highly professional, organised and a pleasure to work with. He is so passionate about his job as a photographer; you can tell he enjoys the whole process and he is a real people person, which was awesome to have around on our wedding! He makes everyone feel at ease and injects some fun into the whole process and we just loved the results! The photographs are amazing and we couldn't be happier. I would absolutely 100% recommend Alister and we will definitely use him again in the future to record our special events. Love your work Alister - you rock! :)

Words can't describe this mans passion and love for his job. Absolute legend.. made everyone feel relaxed and easily fit in with the both groomsmen and bridesmaids prior to the wedding, making it easy for photos with both being so relaxed. Would and have recommended him to anyone for any event, especially your special day.

I've only known Alister for a little while, but his humourous professionalism is unforgettable, something that made me and my wife feel at ease on our hot wedding day. He made the process so much fun for our guests who also loved his bubly attitude. He has a real passion for photography and I loved seeing him light up like a kid at Christmas when he took awesome shots. The little things like the follow ups before and after our wedding meant a lot! Can't wait till our next encounter :)

If music is not in the notes, but in the silence between them then Alister has the ability to craft a beautiful story of your special day by capturing the moments between the big moments in your celebration. He did this for us, capturing the love and joy in our very simple elopement ceremony. His style is casual and generous, with a magical ability to take a photo without being noticed, to see the moments before they happen and take the shot at the perfect time. He had us laughing, making new friends and splashing through the waves.
If you ask me what it takes to being the Best Gold Coast Wedding Photographer?
